Gentle piano is the main module of Soft Mozart Program: A computerised interactive program for learning the piano. In this demo users will have access to a mini library of 8 songs where you can start practicing without the need of a teacher. Connecting a keyboard to the computer, you can learn to play and read music in an entertaining and fun way. The program offers several forms of representation of the score and is supplemented with materials that can be found on our website as well as other modules focused on content in music theory, harmony, etc.
The program is fully interactive and allows you to play with your left hand, right or both together. If the performer does not touch the right notes, the score does not advance, so that the student can ascertain which are the right notes. Pressing the S button, the user will hear the sound of the score, which will guide you understand the songs and how they should sound. Pressing the keys 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.6 you will see different representations of the score, including the name of notes according to the alphabet (press A) or images associated with the name of the notes (italian solfeggio silables). Gentle Piano is a game, while it is a powerful tool for piano practice and develop reading and listening skills.
